Homemade chocolate soja yogurt with Figs, Banana & Coconut

Homemade chocolate soja yogurt with Figs, Banana & Coconut slices

The summer season is great for many reasons, and one of them are the figs 🙂 The only time of the year when we can enjoy their unique taste. Let’s thus make the most of them!

Today I woke up craving for some sweet bites, so I created this breakfast bowl that contains a lot of nutrients: dietary fiber, potassium (it helps to control blood pressure), antioxidants, essential fatty acids, phosphorus and magnesium.

  • 1 tbsp. raw cacao (or to taste)
  • 1 natural soja yogurt
  • 1 tbsp. spreadable vegan dark chocolate
  • 1 fig
  • 1/2 banana
  • 4-5 fresh coconut slices
  • 2 walnuts
  • 1 tsp. mixed seeds
  • 1 tbsp. green matcha (special for cooking)

First add the natural soja yogurt to the bowl, the raw cacao and the vegan dark chocolate, and mix them until you get a homogeneous, creamy and lump-free mixture. Now we got homemade chocolate soja yogurt 😉

The following steps will give free rein to your creativity. I started by slicing the fig and banana in four equal pieces, and then placing them along the corner of the bowl. Afterwards I took the coconut slices and spread them on top of the banana. However, you can decorate the bowl as you wish!

Walnuts and seeds were the following ingredients. When I buy seeds, I like gathering them together in the same glass jar, so I can get the most of each one’s health benefits.

Finally I spread the matcha tablespoon on the bowl. Adding green matcha on the top increases the energy levels while helping to detoxify the body. Additionally I really like the contrast it creates with the earth tones from the rest of ingredients.

Bon appétit! 😀
